Baghdad:The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the reopening of applications for the admission form targeting top students who are graduates of vocational studies. This initiative is designed to fill vacant seats for the academic year 2026/2027.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up stated that the application process is open to top students from the first round of vocational studies graduates for the academic year 2025/2026. These students, who have not previously applied or were not accepted in the initial batch, can now apply for admission to all government universities in both academic and technical specializations, specifically for morning studies, in accordance with their corresponding specializations.

The department further announced that applications will be accepted through the ‘Qadam Platform’ application until Thursday, November 5, 2026.
