Amman: Iraq won seven medals at the 24th Asian Junior, Youth, and Under-21 Karate Championships, recently held in Amman, Jordan. The Iraqi delegation was headed by Riyadh Kadhim Al-Dhalimi, a lecturer at the Open Education College/Al-Muthanna Study Center.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Education stated in a press release: “The medals were distributed as follows: four silver and three bronze, won by elite national team players in the kata and kumite competitions.”
