Iraq Secures Vice President Role in Arab Aquatics Federation

Casablanca: The President of the Iraqi Aquatics Federation, Khaled Abdul Wahid Ghubayan, has been elected as Vice President of the Arab Aquatics Federation for the term 2025-2029. The elections took place in Casablanca, Morocco. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the election also saw Yemeni Khaled Mohsen Al-Khulaifi emerge as President of the Arab Federation. Additionally, Hamid Al-Gharib from Kuwait and Amir Abdul-Jawad from Egypt secured positions as Vice Presidents, bringing the total number of Vice Presidents to three. Nine other members were also elected to the Federation's Board of Directors. In a statement, Ghubayan expressed his gratitude to the General Assembly for their trust and confidence in him. He emphasized the commitment of himself and his colleagues on the Board of Directors to advance the Federation's initiatives and support the federations affiliated with the Arab Aquatics Federation. Ghubayan aims to develop these federations and achieve success in alignment with the future goals of the Arab Aquatics Federation.
