Paris: The head of the Integrity Commission, Mohammed Ali al-Lami, has urged Interpol to enhance its support for Iraq in tackling corruption, apprehending wanted individuals, and recovering illicit funds.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Mohammed Ali al-Lami met with Lucas Philippe, the President of Interpol, during a high-level delegation visit with Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi to France. The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation, activating communication channels, and coordinating efforts to pursue individuals wanted for corruption. They also emphasized the importance of exchanging critical information to facilitate the tracking and prosecution of these individuals.
