Baghdad:National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Aboudi has highlighted that Iraq’s current security stability is a key aspect in fostering a favorable environment for investment.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Aboudi met with Radu Octavian Dobre, the Ambassador of the Republic of Romania to Iraq. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations and developing cooperation across various sectors.

Al-Aboudi urged Romanian companies to expand their presence in the Iraqi market, emphasizing sectors such as defense, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence as promising areas for investment. He noted the Iraqi government’s commitment, under the Prime Minister’s leadership, to a comprehensive program aimed at development and economic stability. This includes diversifying income sources and forming international partnerships.

Ambassador Dobre expressed Romania’s readiness to enhance cooperation with Iraq, supporting the development of partnerships that benefit both nations across various fields.
