Baghdad: Iraq has strengthened its educational presence with an Arab agreement and a new Iraqi school in Jordan.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Education stated in a press release that the initiative aligns with Iraq’s policy of fostering educational partnerships with neighboring countries. The agreement with Jordan focuses on implementing provisions that include the exchange of expertise, training programs, and specialized delegations. These efforts aim to enhance the educational processes in both nations.

The discussions took place with the presence of key figures such as Al-Ababneh, the Assistant Director General for Technical Affairs Baidaa Kadhim Matar, and the Director of Cultural Exchange Ali Al-Baidar. The two parties explored ways to deliver education based on the Iraqi curriculum and create a conducive learning environment for students living abroad. This initiative will be realized through the establishment of an Iraqi public school in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, catering to the educational needs of Iraqi community children.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to ongoing coordination to ensure the successful implementation of the agreement. Additionally, both countries agreed to launch initiatives that support educational and cultural cooperation, further solidifying the educational ties between Iraq and Jordan.
