Baghdad: A number of terrorists were killed in an Iraqi airstrike targeting a cache in Wadi al-Shai, east of Salah al-Din. The Security Media Cell announced this operation as part of ongoing efforts by Iraqi armed forces to dismantle ISIS terrorist factions in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation was carried out by the Air Targeting Cell of the Joint Operations Command. For several days, intelligence and technical teams worked to identify a guest house harboring a terrorist group in the eastern Salah al-Din sector. Once the target was confirmed, an airstrike was executed by the Air Falcons using F-16 aircraft.

The airstrike successfully eliminated all terrorist elements present at the location. Additionally, the operation resulted in the destruction of weapons, equipment, and communications devices within the hideout.
