Baghdad The management of the General Company for Iraqi Airways discussed with Airbus at its regional headquarters in Dubai, UAE, several important files related to expanding joint cooperation to develop the reality of the national carrier.

The company’s General Manager, Karim Kazem Hussein, said in a statement: This important meeting contributed to the agreement to assign Airbus to Iraqi Airways with activities and technical aspects, which contributes to reaching a safe and discreet operation of its air fleet.

He added: This meeting is part of a series of expanded technical meetings conducted by the Iraqi Airways delegation, headed by its general manager, with major international companies and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), which aim to develop the company’s reality on the one hand and lift the European ban on the Iraqi Airways./ End
