Baghdad: Iraqi Airways announced the number of beneficiaries of its discounted tickets on its flights during June 2026. The airline stated in a press release that tickets were issued to 162 people with disabilities and special needs, 237 cancer patients, and 504 retirees, with a 25% discount on round-trip tickets. Two tickets were also provided to wounded members of the Popular Mobilization Forces.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, it is worth noting that the company’s standard discount rate is 50% per ticket for people with disabilities and special needs, twice a year, while cancer patients receive a 90% discount, also twice a year.
