Iraqi Airways Sees Surge with Over 260,000 Passengers in July

Baghdad: Iraqi Airways announced on Friday official statistics for the number of passengers it carried during July. The company's Director General, Mustafa Talib, stated in a press release: "During July, the company operated 1,468 direct flights, transporting 260,933 passengers to various domestic, regional, and international destinations."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Mustafa Talib highlighted that these results reflect the success of the operational plan for managing flight traffic. This plan contributed to accommodating the continuous increase in passenger numbers and ensuring the smooth flow of operations according to the highest standards of safety and punctuality.

Talib emphasized that Iraqi Airways is continuing to implement its development programs, in line with higher directives, which aim to improve the quality of services and expand the operational activity of the 'Green Bird' (Iraqi Airways), in order to meet the aspirations of passengers.
