Baghdad: Iraqi Ambassador to Washington, Nizar Al-Khairallah, confirmed that a delegation representing more than 50 American companies is set to visit Iraq. The announcement was made as part of a strategic effort to strengthen business ties between the two nations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Iraqi Embassy in Washington shared on the (x) platform that Ambassador Al-Khairallah held a meeting with Steve Lutes, Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the US-Iraq Business Council, along with his deputies. The discussions during the meeting focused on logistical arrangements for the visit.

The delegation, comprising representatives from over 50 American companies, will include businesses specializing in various sectors such as energy, healthcare, education, transportation, among others. This visit is seen as a significant step in fostering economic collaboration and exploring potential investment opportunities within Iraq.
