New York:Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein of Iraq met with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand to discuss international developments and diplomatic efforts aimed at managing ongoing conflicts and reducing their impacts.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The discussion focused on bilateral relations between Iraq and Canada, exploring ways to strengthen cooperation in areas that align with the interests of both nations. Key challenges facing the international community were also reviewed, particularly those related to security and the economic repercussions of ongoing conflicts, which affect regional and global stability.
