Doha: Iraqi Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani met with his Qatari counterpart on the sidelines of the al-Frij Art and Design Festival, where they agreed to organize joint cultural events. The meeting highlighted the commitment of both nations to enhance cultural exchanges and foster mutual understanding through collaborative efforts.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Culture released a statement detailing the discussions between the two ministers. They addressed various common cultural issues and reached an agreement to hold an Iraqi Cultural Week in the Qatari city of Darb Al-Saai. This event will showcase a comprehensive array of Iraqi culture and heritage, including visual arts, music, crafts, social activities, and other popular artistic expressions, thus providing international cultural support for Iraq.
