Baghdad: The Iraqi Drilling Company announced the completion of drilling 62 oil wells and the rehabilitation of 175 oil wells, bringing the total number of completed wells to 237 during 2025.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the company’s Director General, Engineer Hassan Mohammed Hassan, stated in a press release, “These achievements are the result of the continuous efforts exerted by the company’s staff and their high level of commitment to schedules and technical specifications.” He emphasized the company’s continued commitment to executing its work with high efficiency and in coordination with national and international oil companies.

He added that the Iraqi Drilling Company is committed to enhancing its operational capabilities and developing its technical performance, which will contribute to supporting plans to increase and sustain production and strengthen its pivotal role in supporting the national oil sector and achieving the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Oil.
