Baghdad – The Minister of Education, Ibrahim Namis al-Jubouri, has arrived in Paris with the aim of rallying support for Iraq’s inclusion in UNESCO membership.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, during his visit, Al-Jubouri emphasized the importance of Iraq’s membership in UNESCO and sought the support of member states. This follows the success of Iraq’s strategic plans and development programs that have restored the country’s reputation internationally. Al-Jubouri’s visit includes attending the 42nd UNESCO conference and discussions at the UNESCO representative office in Paris, focusing on developing modern policies for the training of educational staff.
Additionally, the Minister visited the Iraqi Embassy and the Iraqi school in Paris, discussing the situation of the Iraqi community’s students and advocating for full support for this educational and cultural institution outside Iraq.
