Baghdad: Iraqi F-16s destroyed an “important” terrorist hideout in Wadi al-Shai within the Kirkuk Operations Sector, killing those inside. The strike was part of a coordinated military effort to target and dismantle terrorist operations in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Joint Operations Command released a statement highlighting the precision and efficacy of the operation. The statement emphasized that the operation was a result of a “qualitative operation and distinguished intelligence effort,” showcasing the capabilities of the Air Falcons. The strike was executed based on precise intelligence gathered by the Military Intelligence Directorate, in close cooperation with the Targeting Cell of the Joint Operations Command. The successful operation marks a strategic blow against terrorism, reducing the threat in the Kirkuk region.
