The Iraqi feature film (The Hanging Gardens), directed by Ahmed Yassin and Iraqi producer Huda Al-Kadhimi, won an award at the 79th Venice Film Festival, according to the official news agency (INA).
It is noteworthy that the movie (The Hanging Gardens) had also won in 2019 in one of the initiatives of the Venice Film Festival in the (Final Cut) competition, which aims to support projects and films from Africa and the Middle East, in addition to the film receiving the (Mercury) Award for post-production services during its participation as a film project At El Gouna International Film Festival.
