Iraqi Intelligence Arrests Terrorists and Drug Traffickers in Kirkuk and Babylon

Baghdad – The General Directorate of Intelligence and Security has successfully arrested three individuals involved in terrorism and drug trafficking in the governorates of Kirkuk and Babylon.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, The Ministry of Defense stated that the Kirkuk Intelligence and Security Directorate, a branch of the Ministry of Defense, apprehended two drug dealers and traffickers in Kirkuk Governorate. These individuals were also involved in armed robberies targeting local shops. Arrest warrants were issued for them under various legal provisions. Additionally, the Babylon Intelligence and Security Directorate arrested a wanted individual on terrorism charges, pursuant to a judicial warrant under the Anti-Terrorism Law.
