Baghdad: The Iraqi Meteorological Organization has forecast rainfall and a rise in temperatures in the coming days. A statement from the organization detailed the weather conditions expected across different regions of Iraq.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Monday's weather will be clear with some clouds in the central and southern regions, while the northern region will experience cloudy conditions with light to moderate rain. Temperatures are expected to rise slightly in the central and northern regions, with a decrease of a few degrees in the southern region. Horizontal visibility is forecasted to be 8-10 km, reducing to 5-7 km during rainfall.

The statement outlined the maximum temperatures for Monday across Iraqi governorates: Dohuk and Sulaymaniyah at 13°C, Erbil at 14°C, Nineveh and Kirkuk at 16°C, Anbar at 17°C, Salah al-Din at 18°C, Baghdad, Karbala, and Wasit at 19°C, Najaf, Diwaniyah, and Diyala at 20°C, Babylon, Maysan, and Muthanna at 21°C, Dhi Qar at 22°C, and Basra at 26°C.

Tuesday's weather is expected to be generally clear with some clouds, with temperatures rising a few degrees higher than Monday. On Wednesday, the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with a slight increase in temperatures compared to Tuesday.

Thursday's forecast predicts partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with a chance of scattered showers in the central and southern regions. Temperatures are expected to rise slightly in the central and southern regions while remaining similar in the northern region.
