According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Iraqi Meteorological Organization indicated that Monday’s weather will be clear and hot, with some clouds expected in the northern region. Temperatures on Monday are projected to be slightly higher than those of the previous day, with maximum temperatures reaching 39°C in Dohuk, 40°C in Sulaimaniyah, 41°C in Erbil, 43°C in Nineveh and Anbar, 44°C in Kirkuk, 45°C in Salah al-Din, and 47°C in Baghdad, Diyala, Karbala, and Babylon. The organization further noted that Tuesday’s weather will remain clear, with an overall decrease in temperatures. For Wednesday, clear weather is expected to continue, accompanied by moderate northwesterly winds that could exceed 40 km/h in the eastern parts of the southern region, potentially stirring up light dust. In central and northern regions, temperatures are predicted to stay consistent, while a slight decrease is expected in the south. Horizontal visibility is forecasted to be between 6-8 km, reducing to 3-5 km in dusty conditions.

The statement elaborated that Thursday’s weather will also be clear, with moderate northwesterly winds becoming more active, exceeding speeds of 40 km/h in central and southern regions, which might lead to light dust formation. A slight rise in temperatures is expected overall, with horizontal visibility similar to that of Wednesday, ranging from 6-8 km, and dropping to 3-5 km in dusty conditions.
