Iraqi Oil Exports to America Remain at Zero for Seventh Week

Washington: Data from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) released on Sunday showed that US imports of Iraqi crude oil reached zero barrels per day last week, marking the seventh consecutive week of zero imports.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the EIA data revealed that the US imported no Iraqi oil during the past weeks of July, as well as the week ending August 7, indicating the continued halt in Iraqi crude flows to the US market during this period.

The data also showed that Canada topped the list of the largest crude oil suppliers to the US, followed by Venezuela, then Mexico. Ecuador came in fourth, followed by Brazil, then Colombia, with Saudi Arabia in seventh place.

Iraq was not among the countries actually supplying crude oil to the US in the latest data for the week, with imports remaining at zero. Canada maintained its position as the largest supplier by a significant margin.
