WASHINGTON: The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced a decline in Iraqi oil exports to the United States last week. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the EIA stated in a table that the average US crude oil imports last week from ten major countries reached 6.197 million barrels per day, an increase of 549,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week, which reached 5.648 million barrels per day. The report highlighted that Iraqi oil exports to the United States decreased, averaging 132,000 barrels per day, down from last week's average of 203,000 barrels per day. It was also noted that the largest oil imports to the United States last week came from Canada, followed by Mexico, Brazil, and Saudi Arabia. The data further indicated that the volume of US crude oil imports continued to come from Colombia, Venezuela, Libya, Ecuador, and Nigeria.
