Baghdad: The House of Representatives has adjourned its session until next Wednesday. The Iraqi Parliament session, held on Monday evening, was concluded after members voted on the appointment of individuals to the Legal Committee.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the new appointees to the Legal Committee include a diverse group of Members of Parliament (MPs). The list of confirmed members comprises Sarah Latif al-Dulaimi, Muhammad Nouri al-Karbouli, Safouk al-Aziz, Rikan Hanish, Ribwar Hadi, Farouq Muhammad Ribwar, Haider Omar Gojar, Bahaa al-Araji, Ahmed Kamel, Thaer Jassim, Hussein al-Halawi, Murtada al-Ibrahimi, Muhammad al-Khafaji, Ali Saber Kamel, and Ibtisam al-Hilali. Additional names are expected to be voted on in subsequent sessions.

The decision to adjourn the session until next Wednesday allows the Parliament to reconvene and continue its legislative duties, including possible further appointments to the Legal Committee. The selection of committee members plays a crucial role in shaping the legislative framework and ensuring the effective operation of parliamentary procedures.
