Basra: The General Company for Iraqi Ports announced a new qualitative achievement, represented by its official inclusion on the global list of Side-Loading Service Providers (STS), according to the list issued by DYNAMARINE, a global consulting company specializing in this field.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the company's General Manager, Farhan Al-Fartousi, stated that the company has achieved qualitative leaps in its performance and enhanced its export and import operations. Its official inclusion on the global list of STS providers is a significant milestone.

He emphasized that the inclusion of Iraqi ports in this international list is the culmination of efforts made in recent years to develop maritime services in accordance with the latest international standards. The launch of Side-Shipping Services (STS) in Iraqi ports represents a significant advancement that will improve the company's standing among regional and international counterparts and strengthen the confidence of shipping companies and maritime fleets in dealing with Iraqi ports.

Al-Fartousi added that the services provided by the company in this sector include the management of Side-Shipping Services (STS) operations using modern equipment and highly qualified, specialized personnel. The company has received excellent ratings from the vessels it has handled, reflecting its level of preparedness and professionalism.
