Baghdad: President Nizar Amidi met with the French Ambassador to Iraq, Patrick Durel, to mark the end of his tenure. According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Amidi praised Ambassador Durel for his efforts in fostering cooperation between Baghdad and Paris throughout his tenure. Ambassador Durel, in turn, expressed gratitude to President Amidi and voiced pride in his time spent in Iraq, noting the positive cooperation that has strengthened the relationship between the two countries.
