Ankara: The Turkish Presidency has announced an official visit by Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi to Ankara on Tuesday, following an invitation from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. This visit is set to address various aspects of the bilateral relationship between the two nations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Burhanettin Duran, head of the Turkish Presidency’s Communications Directorate, shared on the Turkish social media platform “InSocial” that al-Zaidi’s visit will focus on reviewing relations between Turkey and Iraq. Key discussions will cover areas such as security, trade, energy, transportation, and water management.

In addition to bilateral issues, both leaders will exchange views on regional and global developments, aiming to strengthen cooperation and understanding between Turkey and Iraq.
