BAGHDAD: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani emphasized the severe threats posed by the continuing Zionist aggression on Lebanon and Gaza, highlighting the potential risks to both regional and global stability.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during a meeting with the new Jordanian Ambassador to Iraq, Maher Al-Tarawneh, Al-Sudani discussed the importance of Arab and Islamic solidarity in confronting these challenges. The Prime Minister’s office released a statement noting that the discussion also covered bilateral relations and the expansion of cooperation between Iraq and Jordan. The aim is to foster beneficial partnerships across various sectors, ultimately benefiting the citizens of both nations.

The meeting additionally served as an opportunity for Al-Sudani to express his hopes for Al-Tarawneh’s success in his new role. The two officials explored strategic ways to enhance collaboration and develop their countries’ relations further, amidst the ongoing conflicts in the neighboring regions.
