Baghdad: The Iraqi Red Crescent is actively supporting the Civil Defense in extinguishing a fire that has erupted in a commercial building on Al-Dhalal Street in central Baghdad. The teams from the Iraqi Red Crescent Society have joined forces with the Civil Defense Directorate to address the emergency situation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, staff from both the headquarters and the Baghdad branch of the Iraqi Red Crescent Society were involved in the response efforts. Their participation included the deployment of ambulance teams to provide humanitarian assistance and first aid at the scene. The Society also contributed to the well-being of Civil Defense personnel by distributing water and juice to support them during the ongoing firefighting operations.

The Iraqi Red Crescent Society has confirmed that its teams will remain at the site, continuing to offer necessary support until the Civil Defense declares complete control over the fire and concludes the field response operations.
