Baghdad:According to the National Iraqi News Agency, Qasim Al-Araji, the Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, has highlighted the crucial role of Iraqi tribes in fostering social cohesion, supporting state institutions, and reinforcing the values of citizenship and the rule of law.
Al-Araji’s statements came during a meeting with Sheikh Zaid Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Tayyar Al-Mufarraji, the Emir of the Albu-Mufarraj tribe, and a delegation of tribal sheikhs and notables. The gathering focused on enhancing communication and collaboration among different societal components to support stability and promote social peace.
Al-Araji emphasized the importance of tribal contributions to national unity and the protection of security and stability. He advocated for ongoing cooperation with security agencies and institutions to enhance community security, all while respecting constitutional and legal frameworks and maintaining the prestige of the state.
