Iraqi Turkmen Front and Kurdistan Democratic Party Leaders Discuss Political Coordination in Erbil


Erbil: The Head of the Iraqi Turkmen Front and Head of the United Iraqi Turkmen Front list, Muhammad Semaan Agha, met with the Head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Masoud Barzani, in Erbil. During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the overall political and security situation in the country and explored ways to enhance the mechanisms of dialogue and joint coordination between the Turkmen Front and the Kurdistan Democratic Party.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions focused on the Kirkuk Governorate issue. Both parties emphasized the importance of finding a just solution and ensuring comprehensive representation for all components of the governorate. They highlighted the need for joint action to safeguard the city’s stability, promote coexistence, and provide essential services to its residents.



The meeting also covered the upcoming electoral entitlements and the participation of the Iraqi Turkmen Front in the governorates of Erbil and Sulaymaniyah. Semaan Agha reiterated the front’s commitment to representing the Turkmen voice in all areas where the Turkmen are present.
