Baghdad The Turkish Immigration Directorate revealed the latest official statistics of the number of residents with official permission in various states and regions in Turkey.

The Turkey Now website mentioned: The total number of foreigners in Turkey is 1,335,153, according to the Directorate of Immigration.

According to the data of the Turkish Immigration Directorate, 1,335,000 and 153 foreigners reside in Turkey with official permission. The Russians, Iraqis and Turkmenists came in the first three places among them.

The Russians ranked first as of January, with more than 157,000 Russians residing in Turkey, followed by Iraqis with 131,000 and Turkmens with 115,000.

Syrians came fourth among the list of foreigners who obtained a residence permit in Turkey, with 99,663 Syrians.

As for the other nationalities, they came in the following order: Iran (95 thousand), Azerbaijan (69 thousand), Uzbekistan (60 thousand), Afghanistan (52 thousand), Ukraine (47 thousand) and Kazakhstan (46 thousand).
