Washington: The US Energy Information Administration announced a decline in Iraqi oil exports to the United States last week.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the average US crude oil imports last week from 10 major countries reached 5.236 million barrels per day. This marked an increase of 272,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week, which averaged 4.964 million barrels per day.

The agency reported that the average Iraqi oil exports to the United States reached 183,000 barrels per day, a decrease of 30,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week’s average of 213,000 barrels per day.

The report further indicated that the largest oil imports to the United States last week came from Canada, followed by Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Colombia, and Brazil. Additionally, the table showed a continued daily rise in US crude oil imports from Libya, Nigeria, Venezuela, and Ecuador.
