Tehran: The Commander-in-chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Major General Hossein Salami, announced that his country is “fully prepared to deal with any scenario,” in light of escalating Israeli threats and ongoing negotiations with the United States.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Salami affirmed that Iran is “determined to protect the rights of the Iranian people and the country’s sovereignty,” stressing that Tehran will not tolerate any threat. The Iranian military commander indicated that “Israel will be the first to be targeted by Iran in the event of a confrontation,” emphasizing that Tel Aviv is well aware of the extent of Iran’s capabilities.
Salami warned that any party involved in a potential attack on Iran “will pay the price,” highlighting that the Iranian response “will be stronger and broader in scope than the response in Operations True Promise 1 and 2.”
