Baghdad: The Islamic Resistance factions in Iraq announced the postponement of their response to the American-Saudi aggression. In a statement released on Friday, the factions declared that the decision was made in response to a call from Abu Hassan al-Amiri and out of respect for certain political leaders in the region. The planned response was initially set for the 23rd of Safar.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement emphasized that the blood of martyrs is not to be treated as a commodity in political negotiations. It also conveyed a strong message to the American forces and their allies, asserting that the sacrifices made by martyrs would fuel the resilience of the resistance and that sovereignty would be reclaimed through steadfast action rather than verbal declarations.

Hadi al-Amiri, who leads the Badr Organization, had previously called for a postponement of any military response to the recent American-Saudi actions on Iraqi soil. In a video message, al-Amiri urged the resistance to bear the current situation patiently for the greater good of Iraq.
