Tel Aviv: Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced on Wednesday that Israel plans to bomb additional government symbols in Iran. Katz revealed that the operation, which began by targeting the state broadcasting authority, will continue with further attacks on Iranian government facilities.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Katz made these statements via his account on the “X” platform, indicating that the Israeli army intends to intensify its operations without providing specific details on potential targets. This announcement follows an earlier operation conducted by Israel on the night of June 13, which targeted Iran’s nuclear facilities and military infrastructure, accusing Iran of advancing a secret military nuclear program.
In response to Israel’s actions, Iran, which denies any military ambitions in its nuclear activities, launched retaliatory strikes using missiles and attack drones. Tehran’s targets included military and military-industrial facilities in Israel. The ongoing conflict has resulted in casualties on both sides, including among civilians and in residential areas.
