Yater: The Israeli army announced today that it conducted airstrikes targeting “armed Hezbollah elements” in the town of Yater in southern Lebanon, marking a new violation of the existing ceasefire agreement. The airstrikes reportedly focused on a vehicle within the town, leading to the death of one individual. A subsequent airstrike was carried out in the same vicinity shortly after.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Western media sources disclosed that an Israeli drone executed the second airstrike on Yater. Concurrently, Israeli forces were reported to have used machine guns to conduct a sweep from the Ruwaysat al-Alam position toward the border town of Kfarshouba in southern Lebanon.

The ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon, which was implemented on November 27, 2024, is frequently breached by Israeli forces, who continue to carry out airstrikes and ground operations in southern Lebanon nearly every day.
