NABATIEH: Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on multiple locations in southern Lebanon this afternoon, escalating regional tensions. The attacks, occurring around 4:45 PM, targeted towns and neighborhoods including Aita al-Shaab, Taybeh, al-Umara in Choueifat, Haush Ain Baal, Haush Tyre, and Zebqin. According to National News Agency-Lebanon, the first of these raids struck Aita al-Shaab in the Bint Jbeil district, as reported by their correspondent in Nabatieh. Simultaneously, a correspondent in Marjeyoun confirmed another raid on the town of Taybeh. The al-Umara neighborhood in Choueifat was also targeted in the series of strikes carried out by Israeli forces. Further reports from NNA's correspondent in Tyre revealed two additional raids this afternoon. The first raid targeted the Haush Ain Baal neighborhood, followed by a second raid on the Haush Tyre neighborhood. These attacks took place amidst intensive Israeli drone activity over Tyre and its environs. Another raid reportedly targeted a house in Zebqin, contributing to heightened concerns in the region.
