RAMALLAH: The Israeli army launched a large-scale arrest campaign in the town of Al-Mazra’a al-Gharbiya, northwest of Ramallah Governorate, and other areas in the West Bank.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, on Tuesday, Israeli forces arrested 16 people during raids on the villages of Al-Mazra’a al-Gharbiya, Abu Shkhaydam, and Barqa in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorates. Security sources reported that the raids in Al-Mazra’a al-Gharbiya resulted in the arrest of 12 individuals, with reports of property vandalism during the operation.

In the village of Abu Shkhaydam, Israeli forces conducted raids on several homes, damaging their contents and arresting three individuals. Additionally, a young man was arrested in the village of Burqa following a raid on his family’s home.

The security sources further detailed that in the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem, Israeli forces stormed the area, conducting home searches and interrogating residents on site, leading to the arrest of 12 people. In a related operation, forces also entered the town of Beit Fajjar, although no raids or arrests were reported from there.
