Israeli Army Orders Immediate Evacuation of 25 Villages in Southern Lebanon

TEL AVIV: The Israeli military on Monday issued an urgent directive for the residents of approximately 25 villages in southern Lebanon to evacuate immediately to areas north of the al-Awali River.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Israeli army’s statement emphasized the urgency and necessity of the evacuation for safety reasons. “You must immediately head to the north of al-Awali River, save your lives and evacuate your homes immediately,” the statement read. It further cautioned residents against moving southward, stating, “You are forbidden to head south, any head south puts your lives in danger.”

This evacuation order affects numerous villages and raises concerns about the safety and security situation in the region. The reasons behind this sudden evacuation directive were not detailed in the military’s announcement.
