Israeli Army Targets UN Forces in Lebanon


Beirut: The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) announced that the Israeli army targeted one of its patrols in southern Lebanon.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, UNIFIL stated that an Israeli drone approached its patrol near the town of Kfar Kila and dropped a bomb. The statement explained that the drone flew aggressively, prompting the peacekeeping forces to take necessary defensive measures to isolate it. Moments later, an Israeli tank opened fire towards the peacekeeping forces, although there were no injuries or damage reported.



Furthermore, the situation in Lebanon has been tense, with three people reportedly killed in Israeli raids on Lebanon today.
