Syria: Israeli forces stationed in a town in Quneitra province: Local sources in Quneitra Governorate, southwestern Syria, reported that an Israeli military force entered the town of Jabata al-Khashab in the northern countryside of the governorate and established a presence in the town square.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the force, consisting of six military vehicles, entered the town center and positioned itself in the public square, causing anxiety and anticipation among the residents. No arrests were made.

Earlier, sources reported that an Israeli military force, consisting of three vehicles, had also entered the area and established a military checkpoint on the road connecting the town of al-Hiran and the village of al-Rafid in the southern Quneitra countryside, near the border with the occupied Syrian Golan Heights. The soldiers stationed at the checkpoint inspected vehicles and pedestrians and checked the personal identification of citizens, causing severe traffic congestion and restricting the movement of residents between neighboring villages and towns.

Israeli military incursions into southern Syria, particularly in the Quneitra and Daraa governorates, have become a daily occurrence. These incursions involve shooting at and arresting civilians, erecting earthworks and checkpoints, bulldozing land, preventing farmers from accessing their fields, intimidating livestock herders, and creating an atmosphere of escalation with potentially dire consequences.
