Israeli Military Convoy Penetrates Quneitra in Southern Syria

Quneitra: An Israeli military convoy, supported by helicopters, entered the Quneitra region in southern Syria. Israeli forces carried out an incursion early Sunday into the northern Quneitra countryside in southwestern Syria, near the border strip adjacent to the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, an Israeli patrol consisting of three Hummer vehicles and a Hilux truck entered Syrian territory toward the road linking the towns of Hadar and Trinjah. At the same time, another Israeli military convoy, including several vehicles and three tanks, advanced from the 'Destroyed Quneitra' checkpoint, also known as al-Burj, toward the village of Eastern Samadaniyah. This movement occurred amid intensive military activities near the ceasefire line in the occupied Golan Heights.

The incursion was marked by significant Israeli helicopter activity over the border area, highlighting the intensity of the operation.
