Khan younis: Western media outlets reported on Monday that the Israeli army shelled the eastern areas of Khan Younis, coinciding with rocket fire in the surrounding area.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes on Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. They also indicated that Israeli gunboats opened fire towards the Rafah coast, resulting in one death and several injuries.
