Istanbul: The city of Istanbul is set to host an international conference on humanitarian aid for the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, bringing together representatives from over 200 institutions and organizations across 48 countries. The two-day event aims to address the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a spokesperson from the Turkish Religious Affairs Foundation announced that the International Humanitarian Aid Conference for Gaza will include participation from local and international officials, civil society organizations, human rights activists, academics, and media professionals. The conference expects to draw over 400 participants from Turkey and around the world.

The primary goal of the conference is to find lasting and effective solutions to the crisis that has gripped Gaza for more than two years. It will focus on the needs of millions of civilians affected by the destruction of infrastructure, health, education, shelter, and other critical sectors.

The event will feature five workshops aimed at exploring joint and sustainable solutions in the wake of a ceasefire. These workshops aim to cover all aspects of comprehensive and regular humanitarian assistance in Gaza, seeking to establish a cooperative framework for aid delivery and support.
