Rome: Italian Jannik Sinner and Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka have maintained their positions at the top of the world tennis rankings, according to the rankings released on Monday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Sinner held on to the number one spot in the men’s rankings with 12,800 points. German Alexander Zverev climbed to second place with 7,790 points, surpassing Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, who slipped to third with 7,160 points. The top ten also includes Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime in fourth, Serbian Novak Djokovic in fifth, Italian Flavio Cobolli in sixth, Australian Alex de Minaur in seventh, Russian Daniil Medvedev in eighth, and Americans Ben Shelton and Taylor Fritz in ninth and tenth, respectively.

In the women’s rankings, Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus continued her reign with 8,575 points. She is followed by Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina in second with 8,141 points and American Jessica Pegula in third with 7,265 points. Coco Gauff, also from the United States, climbed to fourth place with 6,704 points after her victory at the Cincinnati tournament. The ranking further includes Russian Mira Andreeva in fifth, Czech players Linda No€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬¦¡kov¡ and Karolina Muchova in sixth and seventh, Polish Iga Swiatek in eighth, Ukrainian Elina Svitolina in ninth, and American Amanda Anisimova in tenth.
