Jabro and Al-Dakhil Address Displacement and Economic Challenges in Nineveh

Nineveh: Jabro and Al-Dakhil discuss the humanitarian and economic conditions and the displaced persons' file in Nineveh. Nineveh Governor Abdul Qadir Al-Dakhil received the Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faiq Jabro, and her accompanying delegation at the governorate headquarters. They discussed the general situation in Nineveh and assessed the humanitarian and economic situation in the governorate, particularly following the challenges it faced as a result of recent conflicts.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Dakhil stated that the meeting focused on the issue of displaced persons in the governorate. They explored ways to improve their conditions and provide them with the necessary support, particularly concerning basic services such as education, health, and humanitarian aid. Discussions also covered reconstruction projects in affected areas and ensuring the safe return of displaced persons to their areas of origin.

Al-Dakhil emphasized the need for enhanced coordination between the local government and the Ministry of Migration and Displacement to accelerate the pace of work to provide immediate support to displaced families, aiming to establish a safe and stable environment in Nineveh.

Jabro expressed the Ministry's readiness to provide all possible forms of support to the governorate. The focus is on strengthening cooperation between local government agencies and the international community to find sustainable solutions to the displacement issue.
