Jazeera Airways Launches Inaugural Flights Between Baghdad and Kuwait

Baghdad: Baghdad International Airport today marked a significant milestone with the arrival of the first Jazeera Airways flight connecting Iraq's capital with Kuwait. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the airport administration announced that the inaugural flight, numbered J9 149, was operated by an Airbus A320 and was welcomed with a water cannon salute, a traditional gesture for inaugural flights. This new route aims to enhance connectivity between Baghdad and Kuwait International Airport. The airport administration further stated that Jazeera Airways will conduct two weekly flights on this route. The service is expected to cater to both business and tourism travelers, thereby boosting air traffic and fostering greater ties between Iraq and Kuwait.
