Baghdad: The Joint Operations Command has confirmed that the Iraqi borders are fully secured and under the strict control of specialized security forces. This assertion highlights the ongoing efforts to maintain border security and manage threats effectively.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Lieutenant General Saad Maan, head of the Security Media Cell, issued a statement emphasizing the role of the Border Guard Command. He noted that the command continues to fulfill its duties through well-structured plans that incorporate advanced monitoring systems, sophisticated technical procedures, and field fortifications. These measures are designed to ensure high levels of security and stability along the entire border strip.
Maan further explained that Iraq has established successive and fortified defensive lines manned by various Iraqi security units, branches, and specializations along the borders. This organized deployment demonstrates the high level of readiness and continuous coordination among the security branches responsible for protecting the country’s borders.
