BAGHDAD: The Joint Operations Command has confirmed the successful elimination of four terrorists, including the commander of the Salah al-Din sector, in a targeted airstrike. The operation marks a significant step in ongoing efforts to dismantle terrorist networks in the region. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Security Media Cell reported that the operation was conducted under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani. The Military Intelligence Directorate, after days of continuous surveillance, identified the terrorist detachment in the Al-Eith area. The operation was meticulously planned and executed by the targeting cell at the Joint Operations Command. The report further detailed that the airstrike, carried out by F-16 aircraft, resulted in the deaths of four terrorists, including the notorious leader of the Salah al-Din sector, identified as Al-Bazi. The strike also led to the destruction of various assets, including weapons, ammunition, explosive b elts, communication devices, and other logistical materials crucial to the terrorist operations.
