Baghdad: The Joint Operations Command announced the destruction of six terrorist hideouts in precise airstrikes in the Wadi Zaghitoun area, within the Kirkuk Operations Command sector.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation was conducted based on accurate intelligence from the Iraqi National Intelligence Service and the Counter-Terrorism Service, under the supervision and planning of the Targeting Cell in the Joint Operations Command.

The Command revealed that field operations led to the identification of six terrorist hideouts in the Wadi Zaghitoun area. These locations were subsequently targeted by precise airstrikes executed by the Army Aviation.

The statement further detailed that Special Forces initiated a search of the targeted area, successfully destroying the remaining hideouts. Security forces continue their efforts to sweep and clear the region.
